Details
Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide with the amino-acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp, commonly abbreviated AED and also referred to as T-31. It is studied within the short peptide bioregulator class, with research interest focused on cartilage biology, chondrocyte proliferation, connective-tissue signaling, extracellular-matrix regulation, and age-associated cellular models. Published work involving AED is primarily preclinical, and the limited evidence base does not establish clinical efficacy. Because it is an ultra-short peptide, Cartalax is also evaluated in controlled studies of peptide-linked gene-expression effects and cellular renewal pathways. Taken together, these characteristics position the material for structured laboratory research where cartilage-cell response, matrix-related signaling, and reproducibility across experimental conditions are being evaluated.
Reconstitution
Add 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to the vial. This creates a solution that is 10 mg/mL. On a U-100 syringe, 10 units equals 0.1 mL, which contains 1 mg of active material.
Storage
Store lyophilized vials in a cool, dry, dark location until ready for laboratory use. Keep vials sealed and protected from moisture, direct light, and unnecessary temperature fluctuation. After reconstitution, store refrigerated unless your validated protocol specifies otherwise. Minimize repeated warming and cooling, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and label prepared vials with the preparation date and concentration.
Shipping
Orders are packed carefully before shipment. Fulfillment can take up to 5 business days depending on the product, order size, and current processing volume. After fulfillment, express shipping usually takes about 2 business days, though final carrier timing can vary by destination and service conditions. Tracking details are emailed once the order has been packed and fulfilled.
